could you add a cvar so if the server dips below a certain number of players for x amount of time the map will change to a specific map?

Okay, update! Finally! Sorry it took so long. Read the first post for more info.

1.1 Change Log

% Substantial rewrite.
% Added exec'ing a config on automatic map changes.
% Added cycling through a custom mapcycle file with autochangelevel_mode 0.
% Added a chat message and a five second delay before changing maps.
% Added optional custom mapchooser.smx for compatibility with autochangemap_mode 1.
% Changed autochangemap_type to autochangemap_mode and changed values correlating with modes.
% Changed default cvar values.
% Changed/removed some code for dealing with invalid map names. Now the plugin will simply reload the current map if it encounters an invalid map name on trying to change maps.
% Fixed a memory leak.

Please inform me of any bugs/problems.

If I understand you correctly, the plugin can already accomplish that. See the cvars section of the first post (autochangemap_default_map).

I seem to be having a problem. Once the server changes to the "automap" and the server is below "autochangemap_client_limit" it will change the map again once autochangemap_time_limit is reached instead of giving that map immunity and keeping it there, so for me every two minutes that map changes, which just doesn't work.


autochangemap_client_limit "12"

autochangemap_time_limit "2"

autochangemap_default_map "cp_dustbowl"

** and if the map is already on the map and dips below "autochangemap_client_limit" it should just stay there and not change also

Could you please make it so that if you're using mode 2 for changing that it won't repeatedly change the map if it's already on the default?

For example, if I have it switch back to 2fort when there are no players in the server for 30 minutes, it will change to 2fort again every thirty minutes.

I don't know if this plugin works for tf2 or not. However i would like to say that it is running with sourcemod. However it doesn't seem to be changing the map after X time. I'm wondering if the plugin goes by the time limit setting on the server. My server has a max rounds, not a time limit. If this is the case could you implement something to fix it.

Other wise I cannot figure out why it is not changing the map after X minutes.

Sorry guys, not supporting this anymore. Anyone is free to use the source and release a fixed version if desired. I believe the functionality of this plugin, or similar, is to be included in the updated map management stuff with SourceMod, whenever that comes out. At least last time I read.
