Condition Zero was released early in the morning today and all servers should have czero support.

Unfortunately, metamod does NOT work with Condition Zero. Do not try to run AMXx with Condition Zero until we have fully patched it. Hopefully we will get this done in time for 0.16 release.

CZ dont have seprate servers? it just runs off CS servers?

I found my answer by looking at my filters after I updated STEAM.

But I did see a few counter-strike servers running cs_italy_cz as a map

CS:CZ maps pack (link thanks to maharaja on IRC)

CZ multiplayer is almost completly the same as CS. So they were able to easily copy over some wads and .bsp files and play CZ maps on CS.

don't bother getting cs:cz. it's $30 for new maps.

I used objdump -t with strings and did a diff with linkgame.cpp
almost none of those ents are actually new

So let me get this straight... you telling me that there are going to be CZ servers AND CS servers? That makes no sense. They are exactly the same game. Why wouldn't the new stuff just be included in the next update? 1.7 or whatever its going to be.

CZ has 'special' features. Thats mainly it, also valve wants more money considering they are giving us online play for almost nothing more then buying half-life or counter-strike its good to support them somewhat.
