hello, I just downloaded sourcemod to my left 4 dead 2, whenever I go in game and type in SM_admin it tells me "[SM] this command can only be used in game"
I've googled this error message, and everything said I must type in my steam ID into admin_simple, which i already have done, yet the problem still persists.
can someone help?

Just curious, are you running on a listen server? If so, try using /admin in the game chat instead of console. Just a guess >.>

First, you have to set yourself as admin on your server (Google if you don't know how to).

Second, make sure you in YOUR server (I've had many people go into other servers and ask me why the command doesn't work).

Third, it has to be used by a player ingame, it won't work if you enter it in HLSW and etc.

Dumb question, but make sure you aren't doing "rcon sm_admin". sm_admin is a client console command.
