I hope this is the right forum.
I think most of you know these fake servers. They look from outside like normal Server. But if you press connect, you end up in another server. You just can figure out, that it isn't a normal server, by pressing Refresh. The time of the clients doesn't change.

In Europe I know that two big community are using these fakeservers. One is UFB (f.e. 94.23.236.29:28034 or 94.23.236.29:28042) and the other is shoot-em. Their servers are full round the clock.

I don't think this is very fair. Because other servers apear just one time in the Steamlist. And aren't recognized.

Is anybody able and willing to spend the community a Code for these fakeservers? I think at the moment it is not fair. I know that probably the steamlist will break together. But their are other possibilitys to find servers.

This thread should also be for talking about these fakeservers. Is it fair? What do you think about communitys using them? etc.

Thanks for your help. This is a nice plugin.
But for a fakeserver there is a bigger problem than redirection.
The fakeclients with different connectiontime...
The plugin "orginal fakefull" could just add fakeclients that have all the same connection time.

I would use them just to get the word out on my servers, many of those people create 15 servers with noone on them just to make the servers most noticable in internet games list, then they redirect to the actual server so everyone plays there. thats why they do it.

Yes, I think also that there is no plublic version.
But probably someone is able to code that. And maybe this one is willing to spend that the community.
Probably this release will crash up the serverlist and the communitys only lived of that plugin will die! I think this would be a great gift of fairness.

For starting more hlds simply change the port . Take this code and put into a bat file and the run it to see :

start /min /low hlds.exe -console -game cstrike -secure -nomaster +map de_dust2 +maxplayers 32 +port 27020
start /min /low hlds.exe -console -game cstrike -secure -nomaster +map de_dust2 +maxplayers 32 +port 27021
start /min /low hlds.exe -console -game cstrike -secure -nomaster +map de_dust2 +maxplayers 32 +port 27022
start /min /low hlds.exe -console -game cstrike -secure -nomaster +map de_dust2 +maxplayers 32 +port 27023
start /min /low hlds.exe -console -game cstrike -secure -nomaster +map de_dust2 +maxplayers 32 +port 27024

That will start 5 servers .

So if you want to make 5 servers to redirect players to a main server , use fakefull plugin , simple redirection plugin and this script .
