Is there a way to install custom skins on the tf2 dedicated server so that every one who joins sees them?

Right now i have this
http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/51170

and i put the 'materials' folder that came with it and overworte all the materials on my dedicated server here:

c:/hlserver/orangebox/tf/materials

How do i get the joining clients to see these skins and download them?

You cant.

You cant change tf2 models in the first place, and even if you could, those are client side "skins", not "models"(unless im wrong, I didnt look at the pack, but in this case they have to be skins). Most stuff on fpsbanana is client side, just fyi.

their materials. not models.

They change simple textures on the clothing, not models.

I was on a server earlier with a beercan for the bonk and a different whisky bottle for the demoman. These were not my skins, I regularly play without any skins or sounds or models.

I wanted to make this on the server for the 'orange and blue clan'

Was it only the world model, or the view model too? World model for weapons (the ones you see on everyone else) can be changed.

question. How can the plugin TF2 Equipment Manager allow players to wear hats, camera beard, etc...but yet we cannot add different clothing? Or skins rather. Anyone know? Thanks

Yes...

Because tf2 equip is essentially attaching models to players bodies....

Where as, changing skins is editing an already existing model, which you cant do. You CAN do it client side, so you see the changes, but nobody else will. You can attach any models you make easily though. Like crimson said, you can change world models. Im not sure what fits into that catagory since ive never looked but....

Is it not then possible to upload a custom model, not over writing the client side model?
Make the client skin invisible and then attach the custom server skin to their now invisible client side skin.

Surely this is possible?
