Hey guys,

Now i know this has been asked before, but i searched and i couldnt find a proper way to do it. How can i fully reset a func_train and/or other moving objects?

Apparently reseting it's origin and velocity isnt enough. The func_train stays at the beginning, but i can still hear it moving, and when the sound reaches it's end the func_train instantly goes to the end point. I need to block it completely and reset it.

Please help...

OK, a couple of months ago someone has already asked the same question - he solved that problem, but didn't wrote the solution - try posting in that thread or PM him.

Looks like the guy is nowhere to be found.

How does one stop a func_train? From what i've read func_trains were planned for HL1 gameplay, where there's no round restart. But there's gotta be a way to stop them and set their animations back to start.

How do mappers stop func_trains? I've heard that there is something called a stop signal. Can anyone explain it to me please?

all entities reset on roundstart

if you're looking to do it by amxx, then good luck, people don't seem to know anything about trains (I was looking for ways to spawn vehicles using amxx)

posting just to monitor the thread so sorry if my post got you hoping
