wow, i got'a say thanks.
Loaded this last nite, and have already banned 7 players.

i double checked there vac status on there community page and it's correct.

What i don't understand tho is, i have it set to only kick so i could check for errors.
It's kicked 4 and banned 3.

Why is there a difference ?

Yes, just change sm_vacbans_db to a mysql database config.

Thanks that works but the steamid in the steam_id field is writing like 76561197960372826 i can not read the normal steamid like STEAM_0:1:8xxxxx9 that i can in the vacbans.log file ?

That's the community ID. It converts directly to the Steam ID using a converter like
