Hello,

After the update the latency of CS:GO is on my machine unstable.
It jumps from 55 to 68 to 80 and then back.

More people have this issue? I can't find the problem at the moment.

SM version 4570

It just slowdown the gameplay a bit, there is no lagg. Just the ping/latency...
it makes no difference how much players. 1 or 10, still the ping showing higher.

It's not sourcemod. (edit)

I'd check with your provider, latency isn't really affected by Sourcemod

I can confirm it is steamcmd.
After the last update of valve there are lagg problems with linux servers.

People who said no, yes there is.
Pings are higher and the server performance is worst.

Migrate to windows is for now the best option. Or just start a topic for Valve to fix this.

It is not an networkissue. Too much latency difference for this. LOL

I'm not seeing any issues with my linux servers so I'd fallback on what processes are running on your machine. Steamcmd is only for downloading files so if it happens when its downloading files its kinda normal tbh.

55-80 isn't really that high of a jump, if you need a better ping I'd recommend moving the server itself.

It is confirmed and valve is testing it. For now i have enough info.
