is there a way to make admins not see the name of the banning admin unless its their ban or they have root?

also are there any plans to allow admins to ban from the webpanel but not give them premission to group/friend ban?

No, but why would you hide that info to your own admins?

Sure there are plans, but the current permission system sourcebans 1.x uses doesn't allow any more permissions.. In 2.0 there are much more permissions.

Check the steamid you've set on the webpanel. it has to be the full "STEAM_0:[0-1]:[0-9]+" format INCLUDING the STEAM_ part.

ok, I changed it to my Steam ID instead of a name and it worked just fine.

Now the problem we have with that is that one of our servers gives people a different steam id when they log on to the server so that is why we changed it to a name instead of steam id. Is there a way to make it work with a name instead of the steam id?

A few of us have extra accounts we play under and players could never be sure if an admin was on or not and it kept them in line. now with sourcebans installed for the last few months are extra accounts have been compromised since inevitability one of the lower admins can see our names after we have banned someone and will tell their friends too be careful and so on.

Did you use a different database prefix when you installed the webpanel? If so, change DatabasePrefix in sourcebans.cfg.

ok this one is fixed.
now we get another problem ^^

if i want to use the admin-menu i get this:

[SM] You do not have access to this command.

but all admins are in the admin_simple.ini
and i put admin-access on sourcebans webpanel
