Isnt that just CSGO having problems when tabbing out etc? I dont have problems seeing the decals.

Maybe update your gfx drivers.

We just tested it with a second PC. Same problem. But as well there weren't a problem at the decals at one of your servers!
What gfx drivers should I update? The gfx-drivers from the node our gameserver are located on?

Are you using "LightmappedGeneric" for your decals? What parameters are you using?

How i can paint decals in all surfaces?

i am getting this error and put all files where just like said on post but its this !
[SM] Error: Decal sp1 not found in list.
how to put my decal in list ..?

edit : and i also have this cvars cl_allowdownload : 1 : , "a" : Client downloads customization files
cl_allowupload : 1 : , "a" : Client uploads customization files
but clients say download is to slow . any help tnx

Just finished testing out the plugin, and works very well.
But i think it lacks a 'scale' command ingame.

(i wasnt able to upgrade the plugin itself, due to lack of knowledge in sourcepawn language)
So i decided atleast to make a .vmt generator using c++ app to make things easier. (for people who want many diferent scales ^^)

The generator is used to automaticly create lists of .vmt files with diferent scales. (and code to add into 'decals.cfg')
Which would take many time doing it manually if someone wants +30diferent scales per texture.


The generator file, tutorial, and source code are inside the download below.

The plugin is great, but I cannot save it permamently, even when I save it and it tells that the position is being saved to a file, there's nothing and after map change all the decals just disappear. Can anyone tell me what i'm doin wrong?

Never mind, I've done it by myself. I've just wrote it manually to a file de_mirage.cfg because when I save a decal it says it creates a file and saves the aim but actually it doesn't make any file... Just to make someone know why it doesn't work in my case. Regards ;)

Hey all, I've been very interested in this plugin. However I cannot get decals to show. When aiming and painting a decal I get a very tiny purple/back pixel box where I tried to paint the decal.

I used the updated files here: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showpost.php?p=986520

Is this a server setting I'm missing? I tried with the default vtf/vtm files provided as well as some custom ones I created.
