Just a quick tip: Before you even start touching any game engine you write a GDD (Game Design Document). Planning is almost as important as the real development.

Making a basic minecraft clone in Unity3D can be done within 7 days, you also want to look at minepackage (at sourceforge).

The thing is that i don't want to clone minecaft.
Only the idea of blocky world and that i wrote. Graphics, combat systems and even the physics will be different. Much more complex than minecaft.

And what exactly do you seek? tbh, I believe you have no idea what Unity3D and UE4 are able to create with.

Nothing stops you to even create almost the same game as Minecraft, or any other game, I am sure. There should be no problems at all, unless you steal the name of a registered trademark for your product. Just having a similar game idea as some other game is not going to get you into any trouble.

gl&hf, I'm pretty sure you won't find anything. There are dozens of developers behind each engine with years of development and I highly doubt that you will find / make anything that they are / were able to do. Especially Unity3D has a rich asset store with many extensions.
