Will respawn still be possible with new update?

Does the signature need to be updated?

If the plugin manually SDKCalls it, the gamedata will need updated. If the plugin uses Sourcemod's built-in CS_RespawnPlayer function (and your SM is updated), it will work fine as is.

I get this error when i use the SDKCall

Code:
L 06/24/2010 - 12:58:10: [SM] Native "SDKCall" reported: Invalid Handle 0 (error 4)
Didn't happen before the update which is why I was wondering.

Just remove the sdkcall and replace it with CS_RespawnPlayer
