I'm planning to move to Linux, just because I'm bored of windows.
I browsed and found one OS called "Debian Buster", seemed to be fine for programming.
So, what distribution you guys think is the best?

install Gentoo

Buster is still an unstable dev version of Debian.
I personally use Devuan, which is a fork of Debian but without the systemd cancer and devs don't care about politics.

Running KDE as the desktop environment, it's a fine replacement for Winblows.

Once, I tried that. But because I chose an old build of ParrotOS (linux distribution), it was so obfuscating I accidentally formatted my drive where I had tens of gigs with work I did for almost 3 years.
Not trying that ever again...

Make an empty partition in windows beforehand, it would be easier to locate it and use it later during installation.
