this plug in doesn't work

added:
- tga files (cstrike/gfx/evn)
- edited plugins.ini
- added customsky.amxx
- added custom_sky.cfg in the configs folder(de_dust2 test_)
- cvar (sv_customsky 2) <--------- *also changed it to 1, and it didnt work*
- cvar (sv_customskyname "test_")

It works just fine. You must have done something wrong check you amxmodx logs, normal and error logs...

Seemed to crash the server every time it was set to mode "2", started the 'crash-restart-crash' routine... And didn't work at all in either modes.

not all the skies require all 6 of the files with those postfixes, so this plugin may not work with all the skies ( like "snow", for example )

You are right. But as the thread title states, you would not need this plugin if you are going to use 'snow' as your sky.

well I must be really stoopeed cause I was not able to change the sky on a map using sv_skyname...I have noticed that the sky for most maps is predefined in the .ent list in the .bsp, so maybe that is the problem

anyways I started using a modified version of this plugin and now I am able to change the sky. I recommend:
- moving the cvars and the registry stuff to plugin_init cause thats the standard
- using pcvars cause its more efficient
- letting the sky get changed without all 6 of the sky files

i have the same problem as last post on first page.

the sky texture is working only on server start. if i change the map it's come back to default sky.

in custom_sky.cfg i have all maps...not working

sv_skyname "blood1_"
sv_customsky 1

nevermind i fixed it. in bh_cvars i had bh_skyname set...i let it empty and now works
