Hello , i have heard that addons may be useful only for a specific server/host. Can anyone explain me how to do this ? Thanks !

Hmmm , if i have my Surf Server , i give you my server FTP to manage admins or whatever. You are interested for these addons because you can open a good server with them but if steal my surf server addons they won't work at the server that you will open . Did you understand what i'm loking for ?! Sorry for my bad english

This has been discuss before. It would only be affective if the person doesn't have the .sma, otherwise he can simply edit the .sma so it can work on his server. I suggest you don't give ftp access to anyone.

I'm sorry i'm not talking about .sma or not to give ftp to anyone. Let's think that i have a host and my client want to open a server at my host , for example Surf and i open Surf Server for him , but he can steal my addons. I don't want that this client to steal my addons. Do you understand what im talking about ?! I'm just asking how to make addons to works only for a specific server or host...

Just don't give him access to your FTP. If he wants a server, he can go out and rent his own.

make your plugins for your server only.
you must edit your .sma ,

add something like that

I dont know the complete code, but thats what I Know...
I took this from my private jailbreak plugin.
When u r done, compile it, and then delete .sma from your host.
