I don't think anybody has requested this before, and I couldn't find a plug in that's already out there that does it... maybe because its too hard to do.

But consistently I and I'm sure other people wish that boomer could put out fire, on a Tank, Hunter, Smoker, witch, etc.

Hopefully somebody has the know how and want to make something such as it. (And maybe I fail at searching and couldn't find it)

There is extinguish entity function.

Hook_ability use for boomers, check if there are burning infected in front of boomer, compare distance between them with puking distance cvar, and extinguish then. Thats how i see it.

Anyway, i wont waste my vomit to extinguish some hunter or smoker, which will probably die quite soon anyway.

Doh sorry, about the wrong section.

And would it be possible to link the extinguish entity to the boomer exploding too?

That just can be added into boomer splash damage plugin. Would be better imo.

How would you extinguish a burning SI anyway?
This would be awesome for putting out the tank.

And if possible, when the boomer explodes on a gas/moly flame spread, it could "kill" those flame entities? Unless its just one big entity, then you're screwed.

Ok, whatever, i will try to make it.

Need to know what is the right cvar for boomer's vomit distance. There are more than one "distance" cvars for boomer i think.
