Because here are for sure alot of CS gamers on this forum i want to ask them if they know the 'Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket'. As far i know it happen when steam release an update, the client update steam but the server is not yet updated. I fix this problem always untill the next steam update by restarting the server (with -autoupdate in the start line) but sometimes i'm very late online and the server have for over a hole day this problem. Would it be possible to detect when a server is outdated and the server automaticly restart/update?

try deleting your clientregistry.blob in your cs folder, that forces steam to update on your computer. that would at least fix the client side problem for connecting to the server im guessing but im not sure how to help you out server side.

The problem is then every single client have to remove his clientregistry.blob while a simple server restart fix it for all. Have someone else who have a CS server the same problem with an outdated server after a steam update because some servers are prety quik updated or are not outdated at all but it's also possible that servers have alot of admins who can restart the server and a outdated server is quik detected and fixed.

ya i usually get 14+ people on the server and my top amount of people today is 10 cause of that frickin thing
