Hello! I need someones opinions on which machine to use for 3-4 CSGO servers.

I'm only gonna run small servers such as Aim/Fy servers etc with no heavy modding just a few plugins here and there with 128 tick.

Code:
Intel Core i5-2300
CORES: 4C/4T 2.8GHz
RAM: 16GB DDR3
STORAGE: 2TB HDD
or

Code:
Intel Xeon E3-1245v2
CORES: 4C/8T 3.4GHz
RAM: 32GB DDR3
STORAGE: 2x480GB SSD

Can you elaborate?

Is the i5 only good for CS 1.6 servers?

Well, it's up to yourself.

I will always go after SSD =)

I have (self) i9-9900K + Ryzen.

CS:GO needs a high frequency processor, the first one you are offering is not it. SSD isn't necessary for anything other than load time for the server, the rest of the time it's processed. Only benefit is if you are writing a bunch of data, changing maps a lot, or something that heavily uses read/write. Though, in in this case for CS:GO you would want the second choice - Intel Xeon E3-1245v2

You wouldn't be able to run 128 tick without high variance if you used the i5.

Not to mention the Intel Xeon E3-1245v2 is far superior in every possible way.

Do you know how many slots I can run with public servers?

I would guesstimate:

32 slots at 64 tickrate
20 slots at 128 tickrate

This is speaking in terms of being able to have a steady player experience and variance. Though it also depends on what OS/Distro you are running, kernel, governor settings, overclock usage, and etc.
