because I do not have coverage on the top floor of my house so i used one of those products to have more range

That looks like your public IP instead of the local one? Try connecting to the local IP.

It's not a public IP, but it's definitely not the IP they want.

169.254.119.8:27016, so this is the wrong address, i tried after resetting my router, and yet i can't join and i have the same address 169.etc... I was following this too: https://www.pctechbytes.com/networking/169-254-address/, i have my DHCP enabled. This is weird, 6 months ago i had no problems.

alright boys, i fixed the problem. As i said before the issue was the TP-Link (the range extender). So yeah, basically i i unplugged the USB and now it works lol. I was sure it was silly the fix. THX to everyone!

Somehow your computer can't reach the DHCP server of your router.

Make sure your range extender is on the same network with your root router. For instance, if your router's IP address is 192.168.1.1 your range extender should be 192.168.1.X (X is anything between 2-254) (for network mask 255.255.255.0).

Weird, im having the same issue again, connecting to 169.254.119.8:27016. I was allowed to join yesterday. I don't get it!

I actually joined today by typing on console : connect (local IP), only once tho. After that i wasn't able to get in, weird.
