If you use any TF2 voiceover sounds in your plugins, you MUST update said plugin to use the mp3 version instead as the wav versions no longer exist on the client.

This is every sound inside tf2_sound_vo_english_dir.vpk as an example, which is all sounds in sound/vo/

No, because the Boom Headshot file is a custom file (because it comes from the Meet the Sniper video and not the game).

OK great thanks, I used that particular example to hopefully cover any further "will it affect X" questions

For an example of a plugin that this change did break, MapChooser Extended sounds broke.

For that matter, I discovered the hard way that MapChooser Extended sounds was already broken.

Apparently after so many directories deep under download, the game stops looking for files. So... having sound/mapchooser/hl1/one.mp3 works, but sound/sourcemod/mapchooser/hl1/one.mp3 doesn't.

On a similar note, would Be The Robot also fall under this? I would think it would, though it's not causing download issues. Shouldn't be a hard fix regardless, I'd imagine. Just thought I'd check with someone a bit more clued in before I updated the paths.

I guess every plugin that have the sounds hardcoded will hard problems.

EDIT: Be the robot seems to be working fine.

Any plugin that hardcodes default TF2 vo/* sounds broke. Which means vo/something.wav would have to be changed to vo/something.mp3 but mycoolplugin/somethingawesome.wav or weapon/someweapon.wav won't.
