Gaming is fine on 7...wtf are you talking about.

I play games that run normally in XP on 7, you just have to learn the nuances of the system (like some older games have to just be run in Administrator mode).

I want to see how 7 handles XP Virtualization though.

I'm not having any problems running CS 1.6 which is pretty much the only game I play.
I'll probably install L4D and TrackMania again and see how those go, since they are more graphical games.

Normally they should run fine. 7 is less of a resource hog that the beauty of vista. Although I do not have it I will install it soon.

Yea, well my clanmate uses 7 and he doesn't have any problems.
I've never used Vista. I was waiting for 7 to come out before I left XP.

I'm running vista x64 ultimate, dunno what you guys are talking about.. every game i've tried has worked fine.

I still use the win XP 64 bit. I do not get why people want a OS where you can't even decide for yourself what to do.

cod4, cod5, tf2 wudnt run well on 7.

I 2nd this, I tried those and they wouldnt run well when I had windows 7, so I went back to XP. But I think Ill change back to windows 7 sooner or later as XP will be kinda "outdated"
