im not having any performance issues with MySQL. all the queries in the plugin are threaded, they cannot cause server freeze by themselves alone (if you havent modified the stock plugin with non-threaded queries ofc)

I see, I didn't make any changes. I'll check it out better, test other plugins that use MySQL connection, see if that's right.

No, I use Levels Ranks, I reset every 4 months. However in Levels Ranks, I haven't noticed this delay from MySQL yet, I only saw it in SourceBans++, but it only happens if for some reason my servers crash, then when it comes back it takes a while for everything to work again.
