Hi, I need help to get information from the .dem files instead of codes, and then change codes to remove things when you watching demo. Tried open it in notepad, but he dont support files. Also tried search in google, I've just find 3 programs (CS demo manager, CSEdemoplayer 4.1, DemoFreak). Please check them and tell me if they would do fhe work as i needed, or maybe there is another way to do it ?

For example you open .dem file in notepad++, and all you see is just codes, special characters.. I can be wrong, but I think it is possible instead of this get info like : server name, mod, map, players chat etc.. cuz that codes mean something, or you wouldn't be able to watch the demo. Hope yoi understand what I am trying to say. I am not programer..

There are two types of demonstrations.
one recorded by the counter strike screen, this mode is basic, contains little information and is available for a screen of the recorded.
already another demo recorded by HLTV, which contains more information.
plus any information that can be seen in a notepad.
The .dem file is quite old and old, a valve never made a point of improving and displaying more information in the file, hltv.exe itself is very old too.

Hmm.. Thx for explain. But did you checked the DemoFreak program ? I thought if i will see info, i will be able to change things in cs screen demonstration, like remove player i don't wanna see at all or so, anyways thanks for the help.
