    Knife sound muter

This is a basic plugin, it just disable the annoying knife sound when no damage is dealt (only if Ts knifes others Ts, or CTs knifes others CTs)
Useful for Jailbreak and Zombie Mod/Escape servers.

If mp_teammates_are_enemies is 1, this plugin won't work

    Cvars

mk_enable 1/0 - Enable or disable the plugin

    Client/players commands (3 same commands)

    sm_knifemute
    sm_muteknife
    sm_mk

    Future changes
    - Add sounds when some one type the command
    - Add an admin cvar to enable plugin for EVERY people in the server
    - Add an entry to save (or not) the plugin using clientpref
    - Add a cvar to control if the knife sound is muted only for teammates, enemies, or both.

Thanks to GAMMACASE for the help

    Video as an example here

Hi I have a question for you

you know about knife sound bug?

This is a problem with csgo. It is a bug that only sounds and is not damaged when attacked by a knife. Can I make a sound only when I am damaged?

Ah, you mean disable the knife sound when some one (or you) damage an enemy instead a friend. Well this plugin is useful for jailbreak and zombie escape servers, that' why i decided to make the plugin only if teammates damage others teammates (if mp_teammates_are_enemies is disabled).
So i think i can make a cvar to keep the sound disable if that cvar i said above is enabled and make another cvar to control if the damage is only for teammates, for enemies or both.
    Ty for your suggestion

I've done a small plugin that should do it, basically if no damage is dealt the sound won't be played.
You can find it here, on github.
    Note: Is not heavily tested.

Does it save the players setting, so they don't have to retype it everytime they get on?
