I need help uploading custom skin to Steam.com . I did try the CS:GO installation for texture . But the problem is it say it need to be updated. The files I have on the weapon skins is vtf , material , vtm. I want to trade my weapon skin to my friend on steam . Help would be appreciated.

I need the custom the weapon skin on steam because my friend is gonna play it with online . Just want it to get it on steam in my inventory like any other I have .

I do not know which folders the custom weapons skins goes in .

The CS:GO Item Workshop isn't for distributing weapon skins, it is for submitting custom content for consideration by Valve to add to the game for everyone.
