Could anybody make a plugin that would allow a player that has fallen off a ledge and is hanging, to press a certain key to trigger their fall? This could be usefull in situations where you dont think the fall is'nt high enough to kill you and you want to drop or you dont want your team to risk coming back for you so you sacrifice yourself!

It would be great if when the hanging event starts a msg pops up saying, "Press E to drop".

Can anybody do this????

pointless as ppl would just jump off roofs and such to skip things like at the beggining of no mercy :/

Dropping from that height would still kill them. This would just allow people to release... not modify the damage that people take if it's from too far up.

You would still take massive fall damage, which wouldnt make it worth it to do so. I would like this plugin for my server to use mostly on vs maps. Anybody up for coding this?? I cant imagine it woud be too hard to do.

Run the attached plugin and let me know what it prints to console when your hanging from a ledge and press the +use key (e). It should start with [Debug] and have some text after it. If this works properly I will look for some way to actually release them.
