Reply With Quote #1

Just a quick question regarding model compatibility (in particular for player models) between different Source-based games ... I am using the
sm_skinchooser plug-in on my CS:GO and CS:S servers (and another plug-in for TF2). I was wondering if custom player models for CS:GO can be run under CS:S without modification, vice-versa, etc.

Didn't want to post in that plug-in's own thread, since it's kind-of off-topic.

So you posted in "Snippets and Tutorials"? How on earth does that make sense.

No, the answer is no. Even if they use the same StudioMDL version (unlikely), CS:S and CS:GO player models have entirely different skeletons.
