this plug in works on windows servers, but will prevent linux servers from restarting.

can someone look into this please? i could really use this cross platform myself.

It works perfect on linux servers, also yes i thought of the whitelist method > cafe id's, however the problem i had was the whitelist is full steam ID's where the sourcecode it specifies the first 4 digits.

Perhaps someone with scripting expiernce could finish this off?

i think adding the ban.cfg to finish it off would make it a perl of a plugin as its saved my admins alot of headaches over the course of its existence

well, mine compiled with no errors, works on a windows server and will not allow a linux server to boot.. so it may be by the type of linux..

if you delete the plugin and reboot, the server starts.

Did you put the whitelist file in the place where it should be?

yeah, it was all correct (addons\sourcemod\configs) but still wouldnt restart, worked great on the windows box.

awesome program, my only question is

is it possible to add a cvar that adds people to the whitelist
(save manualy connecting to the server and adding it to the txt file)

something like
ac_whitelistadd STEAM_0:1:1234567
would work well

while the plugin works well, thats my only complaint
