I would like to get a simple plugin that allows me to restrict weapons/weapon types for a specific user.

Ideal usage:

!prestrict <playername> <weapon/weapontype/etc> <number if needed (idk, for grenades or something)>

prestrict stands for player restrict (kinda obvious lel). It would store the player's STEAMID in a file and make sure the restriction is applied every time he connects, or perhaps the plugin couold prompt the moderator about whether to apply the restriction for the current round, the next round, the whole map, or permanent.
If permanent, the admin could revert the restriction via a !punrestrict <playername> or something.
Hopefully someone will like the idea and help me out.

Don't think it'd be too difficult but if you're wanting to do permanent restrictions for a variety of weapons and players then storing it in a file wouldn't be the method id suggest.

A database would be better suited for this as you're probably going to be storing a lot of entries. I could probably have a bash at this but I can't guarantee a finish date as I'm pretty busy this weekend and work full time during the week. Send me a PM if you don't mind how long it takes and we can discuss the details.

Something of permament and then removeable by a cmd isnt hard to-do (using clientprefs or saving infos in a file)
With a time could be harder to do.

So how about blocking until map change OR permanent? No time restriction?
Also, this is going to be for a bunch of known trolls I have on my server, I don't think I will have dozens of users to block :p
