hi, my server is running a 32 slot server cs 1.6 . i have podbots on my server. i was wondering is their anyway someone could make me a plugins that allow bots to have a STEAM_ID_LAN instead of BOTS.

When people type status in console it show players steam id... but for bots it say BOTS. if u can change the BOTS to STEAM_ID_LAN. cs1.6

I *guess* it can be possible with Orpheu... but on second thought you can't replace the string because the original is smaller than the replacement.

Still, it's better for players to actually know which players are bots because if a player thinks a bot is a player and spectates the bot, he'll start reporting the bot as a cheater, swear or eventually just leave the server.

So basically, NOT a good ideea to hide bot identity.

It's possible to modify client console output with Orpheu. But not with amxx, since it will not catch other plugins message to player. The easist way is to edit original function or block it and redirect to your own.
