#1

If you run FakeMeta long enough, even with no plugins using it, MetaMod starts to return garbage errors. I believe it has to do with some of AMXX's metamod hooks, but cannot be certain. Seems to be coming from some of its engine hooks?

No idea, but it is very annoying, and can cause a crash.

Note: the garbage errors are added onto each time.
example: starts as 2949802745
Becomes: 2949803000

Its some sort of pattern....and it always seems to crash when the highest significant digit becomes 9. Its very strange...

... I'm not following you.

Could you paste some of the errors?

If you're referring to stuff like this:

Quote:
Addr: <number here>
-or-

Quote:
[before] v is now: <float value here>
[after] v is now: <float value here>
then don't bother, that's debugging output that I just found by browsing source. What I would be interested in then would be what caused the crash...

No no no, its not debugging errors. Its garbage errors, like if you dont set debug in AMXX currently, it gives you random numbers for errors, not normal lines? Yeah, metamod is doing it but its talking about fakemeta, not any other plugin/module.

Its like when you get a bad load, but with weird symbols, and strings of errors.

I dont have time to set it up right now, but I'll post you a fabrication/lookalike.

[METAMOD] Error: Plugin "FakeMeta" : 3975kfjdlsa4598k ect ect

Its the generic metamod debug message at first, then specifies whats causing it "Fakemeta in this case", and then just....garbage.

I'm labelling this submission as invalid until proper evidence is attached.
