Update to version 1.0.6 released.

This update uses a new sound, to change the sound back to the original add
Code:
jetpack_sound "npc/manhack/mh_engine_loop2.wav"
to the autoexec.cfg file in the cstrike/cfg directory. (If you don't have an autoexec.cfg file, then create a new text file with that name.)

You can use any sound from CSS/HL2 if you want something different, but you should choose one that loops.

Sometimes with our host, the FTP transfer looks like it went, but there was really an error because the file was in use.

Try jetpack_version and see if it is 1.0.6. If not:

Try downloading again. Stop your server. Delete the file from your server and verify that it is gone, then upload again.

yep that did the trick, hate the sound though. Thanks again for the great plugin.

edit: I tried to add the sound "fan_blade_fullthrottle_loop1.wav" from HL2 but after i reset the server and tried it, there was no sound when i hit the jetpack, so i just put the original sound in for now and that works fine. I must have typed it in wrong. How would i type that in please?

It should be just the path after the sound part. I did hear from one person that to use the old sound they had to hl2/sound/ at the front of the path to get the old sound.

When I tested it on Windows and Linux, it worked fine with the one shown, but you could try both methods.

Also, you'll have to change maps before the sound works because it has to precache the sound when the map loads.

Never tested it on DODS so I didn't even think it would work. I don't know why the on/off wouldn't work. (I'm assuming you mean turning the entire plugin on or off.)

Yes, I want to turn the mod on and off at will for everyone. I type in console "jetpack on" or "jetpack off" but nothing happens, am I using teh correct syntax?

That should be right. Jetpack will say if it is on or off, and jetpack on or jetpack off will change the setting.

Are you typing it at the server console? (Or via rcon or HLSW.)
