There are plenty of sounds for car horns in hl2 shared content.

In any case, the next version will allow server devs to select sounds from the shared hl2 content, although allowing server owners to provide their own custom sounds will not be going away.

So I was reading the other guys version and I think only the person pressing the honk can only hear noise and no one else can,is that the same case in this one?

As has been stated elsewhere in this thread, older versions of Tony's plugin caused the player's honks to only be audible to himself, while other players cannot hear it. More recent versions of his plugin cause the sound to be audible to all players at full volume as if the honker was simultaneously next to all other players at once, regardless of any actual distance between them.

My plugin functions normally; all players can hear everyone else's honks, but the honks get quieter as other players get farther away from the honker.

This was literally discussed on the third post of this thread.

I should not have to provide information on bugs in OTHER plugins in my first post. To do so makes no sense. Whereas, the scrap.tf banking plugin is completely non-functional unless you search through its thread, going several pages into the thread.

I'm not getting errors, but I'm also not getting sounds. Problem similar to this guy. Calling medic doesn't honk. /honk doesn't honk. Not using the .txt, only the folder.

If you aren't getting any errors then you likely have too many plugins using soundhooks. Temporarily disable all of your plugins that use them except for this one, then reload the map to see if that fixes it.

This was on my test server with only sourcemod and one other plugin that starts a looped song once.

And nope, I don't see the usual precache or file does not exist errors.
