But how many time it wiil take?=) Last version is 1.5hg3811.
I'm downloading every new Snapshot and looking for sourcemod.2.dota.dll=) paranoia=))

I Think I can make a programm which will overwrite npc_heroes.txt and every new server will get new randomly stack of skills. but it's stupid=)) the more we'll get SM...

First off, thanks to everyone in this community for everything they have done to make Dota 2 custom servers work.

I am having a couple of problems getting everything working properly. I can run the server and change the map between the normal map, the Diretide map and the winter map but I can't get the gamemode to change. I have tried adding a couple of things to the command line when I start the server
Code:
-dota_force_gamemode 2

+dota_force_gamemode 2
and also in the server.cfg at the bottom with
Code:
dota_force_gamemode 2
to try and change it to Captain's mode but it is always All Pick.

Also, how can you restart or reload the game/settings without restarting the entire server, and is there anyway to get a list of commands/options so I can experiment more on my own?

Manually setting it via console before any players join works fine for me. I'm not sure how timing and server.cfg work with it.

the variable is set properly via launch options/server.cfg except on map load it seems to revert to AP on every odd map change. you verify it by just querying the cvar in console without the value after the server is started before map load then manually change it.

edit:nvm it seems its quite random when this occurs for whatever reason.

I would not bother with CM mode as the game seems to not indicate the captains slots are occupied. It just assumes everyone's a normal player and no one can do picks. If your running a listen server it works fine except everyone is listed as a "Fake Player"

Tried to set up a server and it all looks good and loads but I can't seem to connect to my server.

Current version 476. (from api link)
Metamod is working and Dota2 Fixups pluggin loaded.
No firewall blocking and ports forwarded.

hey try to use the LAN pack and download it that superflick posted and the dota 2 fixup psyconic posted and try to get you're folder look like superflick's image.

Thanks that worked, also noticed I was missing the +map dota. Sometimes I feel so blind to obvious things. Think the cfg file was also needed but not sure.
