Guys does anyone see this bug yeat??i got a server runing all working great,but on the games,when the motd appers,if you click on join steam group,its directs you to ANOTHER group from other fucking contry ,not the one that i put on the server.cfg =/ already checked my server dos appers on the master list and all,people are connecting from the list,but new people that wants to join cant because its direct to the wrong group ¬¬ anyone khow a solution??

Nope, i put the id

and on the motd,when i click on join,it goes to another group,different id!!! ¬¬

What does the server return when you type sv_steamgroup into the console?

Some plugin might be enforcing another value.

Guys like i said,im trying to fix it but it dosent fucking works ¬¬ already change the steamgroup on the server.cfg,put the url on the motd of my gruop,None of the 2 shows,even the banner,its fucking transparent,and the join steam group button directs to another group ¬¬ already checked the plugins none change the values ¬¬

ok this is 2017 i know this post is from 2016... i need to know the fix for this, every time i start my server it redirects the steam group to either 1) a broken non exsistant group. or 2) a group that is not mine but has 1 private user profile in the group.

ive tried id64 ive tried the link to my group but nothing works.

my server is completly vanilla and the there is only a couple options in the server.cfg
P.S the server is running srcds on another computer located in USA far away from me. (cloud computer i average 60 ping)

sv_lan 0

thats it i just want people who join my (vanilla sever) to be able to join my steam group
though i know valve is screwed up in more ways then one and never fixes these kind of things.

just wondering if after all this time someone has found a fix for incorrect steam group showing.

P.S from the main menu when i use the steam droup id from the admin edit page of my group the server will show and i can connect to it from the main menu of l4d2. (but the problem still presists ingame when i press H to click join the steam group.)

EDIT: aparently the steam group server that im being redirected to is this group. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/na_donb1wke2
my group is different and im not really willing to post the group link here sorry.
