Why using such a drastic method to solve the problem? I don't get why the rest of us is paying for the blame that four guys made to this place a while ago.

This situation just complicates the access for people that are really interested in the forum development. Because of this matter some people even think that the forum does not exist anymore. Therefore, help and support becomes limited and it's quality declines.

Lots of people in Argentina (including myself) are looking for to learn in this place. This decision makes learning completelly limitated and some people eventually lose interest because the complications of getting proxys and so.

I think that it would be more useful if the Staff could find another kind of solution, fair at least for the rest of the ussers.

We need to look at the big picture to which Bailopan is refering. If the block is removed then the site might as well just disappear to never return. We have to choose the lesser of two evils.

Using proxy , we didnt join in the forum to troll , WE join in the forum to read more about AMXX , get some support for professionals.

Can't be created a website whose inner server reads and writes information from the main server? This way we wouldn't interfere with the traffic in the main server. Something like that.
You could even give the chance to Spanish mods to filter some IP's. This way you could avoid the block.-

The attacker has botnet 400~600 infected,is small for good protection.
