Will the plugin recognize files in either format or strictly the format below?

I asked because I made a fully descriptive version of the items file that has made making changes much easier for me. Please find it attached.

I did a little work and created a version of the multiplicator item file that includes comments.

The plugin would only recognize the format I posted, but if I find the time I can see about parsing both formats. I just need to take a look at how the tf2items manager plugin parses the initial file.
Also on the plugin end.
I almost got a update ready for it.
I just need to make sure updater support is working 100%.
other then updater
only bug its stomping is if you forget to add a weapon to the item file
It would have disabled its attributes entirely

Thanks for your work on this. I've modified my commenting spreadsheet to work with your new format so no need to make the plugin work for both input types.

When you make the tf2items.x10.txt file, are you just manually editing it or have you made a tool to make things easier?

So does this plugin replace the attributes for a weapon or just add to them? The Brass Beast slows you down when you fire, if I don't remember to include that flag, will I still be slowed down or do I need to make sure to include that flag even if I don't want to change it?

The script overrides all the attributes on the weapon itself.
so you have to include that attribute in the line for the brass beast or it will not have it on there.
and has for the txt file I did that manually.
I wish there was a program out there for that.
