seems the problem in my other thread keeps persisting even with the file you just posted, so it's probably plugin/signature related!

Thanks anyhow, I'll have a go and see if I can fix stuff up

Hey Psychonic,

not everyone in ungrateful.
I am very gratefull what you guys are doing here, too bad I dont know much of it so I cant help you or the others.
I get messages everyday from l4d players when the servers will be up again, because they miss the game and the players they normally play with.
only what I can say is, that we have to wait till there is a fix, if here even will be a fix.

Hello All,

I just want to say to all who put time and energy in making these plugin for L4D1 and 2. Our group =HS= (headshots) depend on these mods for our game play. We have a 18 man and a 24 slot l4d1/l4d2 servers and we do a run every night with about 13 to 18 of us. We get together cause it is fun to play the game differently than it was intended.

So like the other posts indicated I keep telling our group to give the makers of these great mod time to fix but until then there is nothing we can do. SO again thank for all that everyone does and cant wait for a fix for l4d1 linux servers.

That is great... I hope there is a fix to allow us more than 4 players on the linux server. for my server tech can someone please post the fix or the updated compiled files we need, may have missed them in all 1000+ posts.

Those are 100% right, there's nothing wrong with the signatures. Perhaps the l4dtoolz one's are wrong because of the "patch" or w/e that may be as I didn't touch that.

If you have anything concrete that you can identify as "broken" on l4dt's end be sure to post about it here.

I don't run L4D1 servers (or play it), so I can't actively try these things.

It seems your build actually works fine on 1.3.6-hg3065 and 1.8.4-hg747.tar.gz (thanks to Atrophy for pointing it out). This one doesn't bug out anything and actually fixes all the aforementioned problems mentioned in the other thread. RestartScenarioFromVote works again and sm_unreserve works (so they don't log an error message or anything).

Player slots still seems to be limited to 4 or 8

Don't worry about the zack error, the playerslots offset is incorrect apparantly (I don't know how to check up on that as there's no guide for offsets only virtual offsets)
