Anyone Heard of the CS 1.5 Problem?

Currently with the latest update to the HLDS 3111e for CS 1.5 (WON) Sprays no longer work when they fixed that bug where anyone could download any file from the server. when they updated steam they fixed for steam but not CD 1.5 (WON).

Anyone Else heard anything I have been trying to email Vavle on this but no luck also left many post @ all major counter-strike.net and other CS fourms..

Any Help Would be Appreciated on this Subject!!

As far as I know, the exploit is still possible on CS 1.5 servers, although it was patched for 1.6. It looks like 1.5 users will have to get used to subpar response from Valve, as they are not interested in supporting it much longer...

All CS 1.5 server admins should therefore have set sv_allowupload 0 in order to protect themselves.

The Downloading of any File has been patched but not the spray problem. the latest HLDS is 3111e with messed up all custom spray from working. I Love to goto unpatched servers.. mess with the admins in private chat and than get them to goto AIM or MSN, and explain what I did and how them can protect themselves.. lol its kinda funny.

Still Frustrated with Valve...
