I installed version 1.1 on my cstrike server today and rebooted. Is this supposed to create a cfg/outdated.cfg file? And where does sm_outdated_do 2 go?
Thanks.

Is it not supposed to create a cfg/outdated.cfg..
You can create cfg/outdated.cfg, and then when sm_outdated_do are "runned" it exec cfg/outdated.cfg

sm_outdated_do doesn’t go anywhere, add it to your server.cfg if you will edit it..

Thanks.

In server.cfg copy/paste this:

//sm_outdated_do - Specific what to do when 'your server is reported outdated - default 2'
//0 = Disabled
//1 = Create need update
//2 = Create need update if no players or only bots
//3 = same as 1 but also shutdown the server
//4 = same as 2 but also shutdown the server
sm_outdated_do "place 1,2,3 or 4 here in apostrophes"

EDIT:
My apologies

2011-07-16 (v1.1) Now execute cfg/outdated.cfg if found, on "sm_outdated_do"..

Sorry, will remember but i have a quick question,
The server would only autoupdate if the server is either on linux or there is running some special program that checks for the file (like SRCDS Admin).
Am i right?
