Java is really only used for Android phone apps and the backend of web applications these days.

I'm trying to learn some front and back end languages, HTML/JS/CSS being front-end and PHP/Java back-end. Would that be good? Or just learning VB/C#/C++ and skipping web-developing?

Imo:
VB = Magic inside your computer
C# = C++ mixed with VB
C++ = Computer itself

I feel like nobody learns C++/C anymore, they're just, old? They are the most reliable and fastest but they're hard to perfect. So instead people learn VB/C#/Java..

Nah, they are just afraid of pointers. Cowards. Can't really call yourself a programmer without understanding(at least on a decent level) how to manually work with memory(but that's just my opinion, don't throw with rocks)

Can't really argue with the fact that having not to deal with memory management is quite an ease on your shoulders.

Speaking of memory and efficiency, here's results of C++ vs Java comparison.

Poor phones and tablets, they're frying inside =(.

There is a difference between not having to deal with something and not understanding it.
I'm arguing that you can't call yourself a programmer without understanding memory management, not arguing about how pleasant is not dealing with it.

It's not the end of the world if you don't understand memory management, everyone has different capabilities. Some people just aren't capable of understanding, some don't want to understand.

It's not true. You need to know how to deal with memory and it's limitations. Something may run good in your system, but may not on others'.
