Need big help. I cannot unban.

Hey guys, I'm running mani on my source server and I'm unable to remove permanent bans. I do ma_unban "SteamID" and it unbans them but when they retry to server or rejoin, they are banned again. I have like 30 bans stored and I don't want to delete them. How can I fix this? It just keeps adding banid 0 steamid back to banned_users.cfg everytime. How can I fix this?

When you do ma_unban, do removeid with the same SteamID and it should remove it from the banned_users.cfg

i tried doing that mate. I did removeid STEAM_0:0:15747226 and it said

15:33:38 removeid:  filter removed for STEAM_0:0:15747226

The steamid was temporarily unbanned but then when he rejoined or when map reloaded, he was banned again. I did remove id and checked banned_users.cfg and his steamid was gone. It always somehow magically reappears in there

Try using writeid after the removeid command

Then edit the banned_user.cfg file and delete the steam Id's that do need acces to your server.
Reboot server and you're done..

From my experience you can't unban someone if you've set a temporary ban - as it's technically not stored in banned_users.cfg it can't be removed from there either.

As I've never needed to remove a temporary ban in SourceMod I'm not sure if the problem is there as well.

True if someone is temporary banned for like teamkills, spawnattacks.
If that's not the case, maybe VAC banned or banned by another anti-cheat program?

Shutdown your server and delete the entry from the banned_user.cfg file.

If it reapers again, it's probably being done by a plugin, and you should post a list of plugins (besides MAP) you're using on your server.
