how much longer on non-beta status? any idea? I am kinda trying to wait to implement it on the server till it is finished and non beta, i just want to be sure not to hurt the servers (we have 2 boxes running 4 games with 1 small test server on one of them). If i install this it wont mess with mani on the other servers right (remember they are on the same box)? What would your opinion be bailopan? or other senior member?

Sourcemod is very stable even though it is beta. As long as you can find all the plugins you need, go ahead and dump mani and install SM.

that is the ultimate goal, but if it cant be done in a matter of minutes, hence the problem.

Can this run on a game server that is running 3 games and only work on one game??

see, the server is running a game of CS Office, a Death match server and a test server (only this test server running sm) or on a server running a dust2 game, a gun game game, and a test server (only the test server running sm again)

we want to get used to this a little at a time rather than confusing all the administration all at once.

Why couldnt it? Only add it to the metaplugins.ini of the server you want it to be on.

SourceMOD is coming along fantastically well IMO.
For my server I'm still using MANI but gradually disabling options as a plugin becomes available which takes over the functionality from MANI.

Soon (I hope) I'll be deleting MANI altogether (just waiting for the official GUI)

Our goal is to be out of beta by the end of August. SourceMod is VERY stable as-is. We're just rounding off the admin feature set.

Bailopan, just want to congratulate you on the fantastic work you've been doing. I've been itching to get rid of Mani and use something faster and more efficient, since I use a fair number of mods. Every time I find a Metamod alternative my server performance is a little better.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

We're really nervous and waiting for Sourcemod.
The most customers hate it to search 4 the plugins and so on...

but otherwise...SM is just one of the best Tools 4 Source next to the old school Mani ;)

we use it and test, and when theres a final version, we will present it our customers in our Webinterface, that they can install it with one click, and have a menubased configuration 4 it.

really nice work...

Is there a german translation? i can make it...
