Is it possible anymore? We'd like to practice with friends, but if I understood correctly console commands to enable that have been removed.

There is a plugin in the approved plugins section. The plugin is called infected bots control. What it does is spawn bots in versus with many other options you can do, such as limits of special infected at once, timer, coordination etc.

Uh, does sb_all_bot_game still exist? doesn't that do what you want?

problem with allbot is they don't leave the saferoom manually in versus. seriously valve. lol.

Doesn't really matter if they don't leave saferoom automatically, I will just set team changes to 99 and help them out when they need it. They also don't push buttons so help is really required at times.

actually, with allbot the bots advance if all real players are on the infected team.
but they don't advance as long as someone is in their team and not moving.

i think the most major problem playing against bots is that they will get stuck somewhere on the way since
they can't trigger any events, press any buttons etc.

I just tried that. Bots didn't move AT ALL if there were no human players on their side.

bots do move if you have the right settings.
