I'm getting the same error on my l4d2server after the most recent update with a personal plugin that precaches 3 sounds. Did they really use up the whole sound table with that update ?

this bug only concerns linux servers and was introduced by last nights update, valve's done it again.
any plugin precaching sound files might crash your server on start or on a specefic map (i was having problems on c8m5 with the karmacharge plugin)

solution: try change how the sounds are precached or try remove the precache completly.
sounds do not need to be precached if they exist on the server and in the clients installation folder
so try remove the precachesound from the plugin and recompile.

Baaah.... I'm using custom sounds that are downloaded by the clients when they connect, so I'm bummed out with this ._.

I have a rental server and l4d2 dedicated server and the sound crash is in both of them. it crashes on linux and windows based servers for l4d2. one plugin is the jetpack. which i have removed the sound. and the other is the satilite cannon for the magnum pistol. so far i cant get it to work on either platform. I tried removing the sound from the plugin but still crashes the game and it is crashing stock maps as well as addons. any suggestions ??? help!!!
