Hey Guys,

Last night I installed a CS:GO Server on my Linux Server via LGSM.
Then I installed the lastest Metamod and Sourcemod but it somehow doesnt work.
Cant use sm and meta, its shown as unknown commands.
After looking into the metamod-fatal file it says this:

L 09/27/2021 - 13:53:08: Detected engine 11 but could not load: /home/csgoserver/serverfiles/bin/libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_7.0.0' not found (required by /lib32/libstdc++.so.6)

no matter what I tried it just wont work.

I installed gcc (Version 9.3.0) and also tried other versions like 7.5.0.
Installing metamod and sourcemod dev builds also didnt show any progress.

I dont have much technical knowledge and dont know what to do now.
I would appreciate any help ❤

try to run this - sudo apt-get install lib32stdc++6

I got this message

lib32stdc++6 is already the newest version (11.1.0-1ubuntu1~21.04).
The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:
  net-tools

Try -

apt install lib32gcc1

or

apt install lib32gcc-s1

Reboot the machine

Try - apt install lib32gcc1

got this message

However the following packages replace it:
  lib32gcc-s1

E: Package 'lib32gcc1' has no installation candidate

or apt install lib32gcc-s1

for this one I got the same message as before

lib32gcc-s1 is already the newest version (11.1.0-1ubuntu1~21.04).
The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:
  net-tools

it seems like a fix wont be easy to find

You've rebooted the machine, correct?

Yes I did before and after trying to install it.

...which Linux and is it 64bit ?

Thank you guys for your help but I managed to solve it.

Solution: just rename the file "libgcc_s.so.1" in /serverfiles/bin/libgcc_s.so.1
I renamed it to libgcc_s.so.1.backup just in case I'll need it in the future or so.
