I just don't know what to do anymore.

There is a kid that is crashing my CSGO server. It doesn't matter if I run the server without ANY plugin (vanilla), or with MM/SM, he can crash my server when it becomes online. The server DOESN'T lag, it's just a simple crash, each time that become online. At 04 AM when this kid is sleeping, we can play without any crash.

I tried all smac modules, rcon locker, sm rcon (extension), forlix flood check, and dos by zephyrus.

Please, HELP ME!

When I ran a LOT of CS:GO servers (75 at one point) there was a thing going around that people used commands like killwithfire & voice_loopback 1 which apparently crashes servers.... I used this plugin https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=73828

and these settings in my server.cfg and saw quite a fiew players being banned using these commands in conjunction with eachother, after that...no more crashes.


sm_blockcommand voice_loopback 1
sm_blockcommand killwithfire
sm_bancommand killwithfire
sm_blockcommand dump_entity_sizes

I think there's some program that allows you log ip connections or ip interferences with your hosting machine / server hosting.

Use some program like that and check logs everytime server crashes
If you find same ip over over again just right before crash use firewall to ban / block it

So kid won't be able to do anything

My server is 44 slots, dust2. We were running since 10 days ago, we never had one crash. Actually we did change the IP due a lot of dos attacks (that lags the server).

Now the kid find the new IP, he can crash the server when it becomes online, 0/44 -> crash, online again, -> crash again. I dont think blocking those commands will help. I'll try now.

Didn't solve, i tried block those commands and he can still crash again.

i3d hosts my server, those plugins you mean not by sourcemod, but by operation system? I don't have access to the machine.

No, it's not. My dust2 server is running at same machine as BF4 servers with 70 slots.

As I told in the first post, it was running 10 days without any crashes, lags, nothing.

Someone know how to exploit csgo, and is crashing my server.

I could move to 1000 another hosts, when this fuck*ng kid discover my IP, he will f*ck up again.

I realized a thing, the server is timeout in hlsw, no one see in the game browser, but I can get log by hlsw and execute any command (while is timeout). No lags at console/ftp.

Try using Accelerator Extension for SM (You will find latest download in latest posts in thread)
It should print info what causes crash and it might make it easier to nullify exploit

I think the problem is not specific.

Also that way is not crashing it anymore serverside i think so.. it looks like clientside, because i know there is no reconnect option if the server is down.

Also blocking commands/cvars will not help you with this issue.
It is pure security of your server i think so, are you sure someone do this? Not a wrong config or something?
