I'm looking for a simple plugin or script to simply kick players who change teams to unassigned.

I keep having issues on a coop server where players will jointeam 0 to go Unassigned, then start killing other players. Because the server is already assigning players to teams by default, I'd just as soon have it kick them, but I suppose the thing could be configurable in terms of reassigning them, warning, kicking them, or banning them.

I look at SourcePawn but I still need to learn it.

And yes, I'm trying to do this "sans Mattie" ;)

You can jointeam 0 and still play?

Hmm...well I don't know how that is possible, but if it is this plugin would stop it.

Why not use mp_allowspectators 0 if the mod supports it.

Thanks for the plugin. It kills my server, though.

I bound a key on my client to "jointeam 0" and though it disconnected me it also kills the engine.

I get an Engine Error box with "NUM_FOR_EDICT: bad pointer" before it proceeds with a crash.

Background: Players will bind a key to "jointeam 0" and then either use a clientside script or just keep hitting it from time to time to keep themselves in Unassigned.

Spectators are team 1, FYI. Thus, not applicable. ;)

Edit: I made sure an sm_kick worked. It does. *shrug*

OK, after some consulting with our resident sourcemod experts I think I have a working version.

I will test it this evening, but since it is really simple I will share it with you now.
