hi guyz shubham gulati from india over here
i am really worried about my servers bcoz of recent ddos attack which ruined my speed and everything !!
my servers are off for now but till they are off i want to get a solution on how can i protect my ip from getting ddos attack i have taken dedicated hosting from rvr infra company which has open ip not protected till now but has stable net
so i rqst if u hav imformation on how to protect servers from ddos attack plz give me detail deccription so that i can help my servers getting lagg and ruined ..

Um, if it's a real DDoS as you state it is, then you will not be able to protect your server without spending a few hundred dollars.

it is surely ddos attack as my net provider is saying that he feels in his whole company servers and i already have antidl file

If it's preventable at all then your provider would have to do it. Nothing in the game server can prevent DDOS.

Well I guess there is. You can exterminate everyone who ever DDoSed which would be a massacre.

There is no real "good" ways to stop a DDoS :

- Turning off the network on the server will stop it...

- Buying a 10 GB network shield wich will filter anything that is sent before routing it on your real server (but if the attacker has a very large network of zombie pc & servers, you're pretty much dead even behind a 10GB shield, you can probally buy higher shield, but the cost is too high i think) And note that if your server's IP doesn't change, the shield will be totally useless because the attacker wont bother to go trough the shield if he has a direct way.

- Trying to optimize kernel & the firewall (this only work if the lags occurs before the bandwich reach 100% of use)
