CSPromod on Swift Panel - Page 5

They way that I interpret this stuff is that if a mod uses content from Game1 then all players must own Game1. If the mod uses content from Game1 AND Game2 then all players must own both Game1 and Game2.

This makes the players, "licensed users" of the content. I don't really know much about CSProMod, hence why I asked. Does CSPromod actually distrubute licensed content? That is the only thing that would make it illegal. If everything use used from the .gcf files owned by the players then it should be fine.

CSPro mod uses content from the orange box (tf2 for example, which is free) AND (did i marked that enough now?) CS:S which is NOT free.
So CSPromod is what? ILLEGAL.
I hope that it is clear now, even for those that think i got some illness because of i don't want to support non-steamers, no matter how they come along.

It certainly makes things interesting now that TF2 is free.

How in the hell it makes it illegal for using orangebox content?

The fuck? What code are you talking about? CSPromod uses none of the CS:S engine "codes", it requires you to download CS:S just because of the materials.
How is this goddamn not legal? Steam doesn't require you to have an account to download the server.

You need models and material from CS:S, this IS infact licensed code and solely for the use with COUNTER-STRIKE Source, NOT CSPrommod!
